I am a UX engineer with 15 years of front-end experience, most of it spent on CSS. From the spacing between lines to the grammar of SCSS, I build tools for the details I care about.
This text sits on the grid of rhythm-sass, my library for print-style vertical rhythm in CSS. Its Rust port, rhythm-gpui, does the same for native apps built with GPUI.
Emacs has been my home for more than a decade, and I type on Dvorak. For full highlighting and structure-aware completion and editing, I wrote my own grammar, P233/tree-sitter-scss, and the packages scss2-mode and emmet2-mode alongside it. Lisp also found its way into Sass, where lambda-sass brings in Clojure’s threading macros, just for fun.
Blanksheet is a CSS reset that gives coding agents a known starting point. It lays the groundwork for a larger project, long planned and now under way.
Since I began working with coding agents in 2026, ideas I had shelved for years have become finished tools in weeks. More are on the way, and you can follow along on X. Say hello by email or find the rest of my code on GitHub.
